Character Information
General
Canon Source: Thor/Avengers
Canon Format: Movie!verse (MCU)
Character's Name: Thor
Character's Age: Unknown, but it can be presumed that he's old as hell.
What form will your character's NV take? Thor's NV is going to be old school. Like, really old school. It's a rune stone. It'll be grey and tablet sized. The top half will be just stone which operates as a screen when turned on and the bottom half will have engraved letters. (QWERTY style since that's the only way he knows how to arrange English letters thanks to S.H.I.E.L.D.) It'll be a voice command kind of deal. He'll say what function he wants and then get to it.
Abilities
Character's Canon Abilities: Welp, it is said that he is a demi-god. In the Marvel movie world, although Norse mythology does exist, he's probably closer to being an advanced being/alien rather than a full-blown god. Thor himself says that where he's from, that magic and science are "one in the same." He is incredibly strong and durable. Thor can take hits that would make mortal men (and some buildings) crumble. He can withstand serious injuries to a certain extent. (One of his fellow warriors is shown taking an icicle through the chest and being healed in a couple days.) He can do even more with Mjolnir, his hammer. With it, he can summon and manipulate lightning (followed by storm clouds and thunder). Also with the hammer, he can create mini-torandoes and fly. He can summon Mjolnir to him as well from any distance.
Weapons: Mjolnir, of course. It's one of the greatest weapons in Odin's arsenal. Thor gets a lot of his power from it. As far as this continuity goes, he is the only one able to lift it. One must be worthy to hoist Mjolnir.
History/Personality/Plans/etc.
Character History: Thor (film)
The Avengers
Point in Canon: Post-Avengers. SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS. Right when he takes Loki home. Instead of home, he ends up in Siren's Port. Imagine the hi-jinks of him thinking it's his brother screwing with him!
Character Personality: To be able to lift Mjolnir, let alone wield it, it isn't enough to be physically strong. One must possess rare and decent qualities. Sometimes, it isn't immediately obvious why Thor is the worthy one. Although considered by some to be a god, he has weaknesses, flaws, and blind spots just like any person walking the Earth. The humility he displays now was hard-earned. It took banishment from his home and interdimensional travel and sometimes even still, Thor slips and has his moments of vanity. Worshipped as a god on Earth and as a warrior and the All-Father's son on Asgard, he knows he is mighty and it can get the better of him when challenged or threatened.
As such, he is easy to manipulate. Thor is shown to take things at face value. He is not one to lie, it is just not in his nature. Therefore, it's hard for him to see when others do it, even well-known liars. He is more likely to believe someone familiar than to look straight on at the facts. This is especially true in regards to his family, which has proved to be his Achilles' heel more than once. (It's hard having a supervillain for an adopted brother.) Growing up in a warrior's society, certain bonds mean everything to him. There are no greater ties than the ones formed in blood and in battle. Sometimes this clashes with his ideals and making a choice can be very difficult for him.
However, it all comes from a place of love. Thor is very much the boisterous bruiser type who relishes in a good battle. But one would be hard pressed to find someone whose love runs as deep as his. This doesn't just apply to his family, either. He has a very big heart and will give you the shirt off of his back if you asked him. For every bit as unrelenting as he can be with his enemies, he is equally compassionate with his friends.
He holds a deep fondness for Earth and the humans on it. They taught him what he had been lacking: humility, gentleness, and curiosity. They complement him and he is fascinated by this tiny race, so young yet so smart. Thor isn't always the brightest, but he has an eagerness to learned about the unfamiliar customs of Midgard. He may be sometimes quick to judge but he is also the first to admit he is wrong once proven so.
Above all else, what makes Thor worthy of the hammer is his pureness. He is sometimes misguided, but at his heart he is noble and has nothing but the best intentions for those around him. Do him wrong and to earn his forgiveness you only need to be sorry. He may be headstrong, sometimes thick, and occasionally vain, but he is quintessentially and actively good. He is strong in every possible sense of the terms and that is why he calls Mjolnir his.
Character Plans: Well, after getting over the WTF factor of it all, I think Thor will be fighting the good fight. He'll help those he can and maybe learn about Earthly superheroing from those around him, because that's still a pretty new thing for him. Plus I bet he will attract some nasty SERO attention. Angels? Please, this is a god.
Appearance/PB: As this is MCU, Chris Hemsworth is the PB. Icons here.

First Person Sample
[He spends a good portion of time arguing with the Greeter. He is as polite as he can be with the woman, but he is aggravated and worried and very lost. Thor's never heard of going off course in a journey like this. After recent events, it should serve as no surprise that he suspects foul play.]
Loki! Brother, this has gone on long enough. I will not suffer these pointless illusions from your bag of tricks. [A phrase he picked up from inside S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters. He sounds more than a little agitated to start. Then his voice grows softer. Even now, he's still trying to show his little brother reason.] Don't you grow weary of running and games?
If my fellow warriors are on this Network as well-- Midgardian or Asgardian-- I would be grateful if you made your presence known now.

This day had gone on for far too long. Thor's heart had been heavy at the start. Recent events made him grow weary. He had been looking forward to going home. At a time like this, he could have used the words of his family and friends. Yet he had been denied this. Now he found himself in a strange new Midgard. His brother had somehow reverted back to being a child. He was stranded. Everything was very trying. Now, more than anything else, all Thor wanted was to sit. He wanted to clear his head from the madness. He wanted to eat.
He eventually found his way to a Chinese buffet. All kinds of stares followed in his wake, which did not surprise him. He was still in his full battle attire. His silver sleeves clung to his muscled arms, his armor shined on his chest, and the bright red cape trailed after him. The looks simply rolled off of his back. Thor was more than used to drawing attention to himself on Midgard in this manner. It didn't bother him any. It was when he approached the counter that he faltered for a moment. He usually had someone with him to help in this point of the process. "Excuse me, miss..." He squinted in concentration at the food waiting for him behind the counter. "I would like--" "Is it just you?" Thor opened his mouth to say something about her manners, but decided against it. It was more likely that he was breaking some custom. He instead answered, "Yes," with a slight frown. He wished someone familiar was here.
"Then that'll be $6.99. You get the lunch special." He blinked in surprise. "But I have not yet told you what I wish to eat," Thor pointed out. That's always how it had been before. She smiled at him, apparently used to people being unaware of how a buffet works. "You get to eat what you want. Whatever you want. Plates are over there and you can help yourself." "Oh! This is quite the... bargain." That was the word he heard Bruce use and he was fairly certain that it applied here. He handed the hostess some money he had gotten from the people in the apartment with a large smile. She smiled back prettily as she handed Thor his change. "Enjoy!" Thor nodded and said, "Oh, I shall." He headed to the buffet eagerly. If nothing else, he can change his current problem of hunger. It would be at the expense of the buffet, but he didn't see how that was his fault. After all, it says right on the sign 'All You Can Eat!"
